Words of Jesus

  Peace

Jesus said: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you. Not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

  Brotherly Love

Jesus said: “A new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another.”

  God’s Love

Jesus said: “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved."

  Joy

Jesus said: “These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.”

Jesus said: “I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and no man can take your joy from you.”

  Comfort

Jesus said: “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

  Life

Jesus said: “Verily, verily, I say unto you: whoever believes in me has everlasting life.”

Jesus said: “Whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

Jesus said: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”

  Forgiveness

Jesus said: “Love your enemies; bless those who curse you; do good to those who hate you; and pray for those who despitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be the children of your Father who is in heaven: for he makes his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.”

Jesus said: “When you stand praying, forgive if you have anything against anyone, that your Father, who is in heaven, also may forgive you your trespasses.”
